Role Description

As a Lead for our Inside Sales Team you will be responsible for leading and developing a team that can propel our company to achieve its main objective of educating every child in Canada and the US. The Sales Team’s mission is to work with school districts across North America to improve the classroom experience through the introduction and support of Prodigy. You will be responsible for mentoring a team of salespeople: removing roadblocks to their success, helping them close school districts, and furthering their careers. This will include motivating, training, planning, goal-setting, forecasting and much more.

In your first year, you will:

  • Be a coach for your team by providing formal and informal feedback on performance and career development
  • Analyze daily/weekly KPIs to ensure your team is on track
  • Do a deep dive into our current functionality of SalesForce and make suggestions for improvements
  • Develop training programs to take your team’s sales techniques to the next level
  • Set the acquisition strategy for each quarter including:
    • Territory planning
    • KPIs and Quotas
    • Hiring requirements
    • Technology requirements
    • Training initiatives and requirements
  • Contribute directly to helping students learn math with Prodigy by managing the sales cycle for large, high impact accounts

You need:

  • At least 1 year of leadership/management experience
  • Approx. 3-5 years experience going through the entire sales process from cold call to close for  B2B or B2C
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales quota
  • Ability to give and receive radically candid feedback
  • Independent, self-starter; comfortable with ambiguity and resilient
  • Initiative
  • Strong communication and persuasion skills

You’ll have an edge with:

  • SalesForce admin experience
  • Experience in a startup environment
