Job Description

As our game continues its explosive growth, we’re looking for someone that thrives in a fast-paced start-up environment and isn’t afraid of sharing new ideas or learning on the fly.

Your role at the company can be summed up in two words: customer happiness. We’re adding hundreds of thousands of students each month, and we need to make sure that those students, as well as their parents and teachers, are all ecstatic with Prodigy.

Since Prodigy is updated every two weeks, this will not be a boring job; with every update, customers will face new challenges, and it will be your job to help them solve those problems and report the issue back to our development team to be fixed. The vast majority of your time will be spent responding to a high volume of live chats and email support requests, but some requests will involve calling customers to help them through more challenging issues.

  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively on the phone, through chat and email.
  • Familiarity with and the ability to troubleshoot modern computer systems and mobile technology.
  • Must have at least 1-2 years customer facing, technical troubleshooting experience utilizing online chat, phone and email systems.
  • You have 1-2 years experience working in a customer care center or related environment.
