Job Description:

We are looking for an Office manager who is excited to organize and coordinate administration duties and day-to-day operations. Your role is to create and maintain a pleasant work environment, ensuring high levels of organizational effectiveness, communication, and safety.

You will:

  • Be a go-to person for our growing team of 90+ people for any questions related to benefits, team building committee, supplies, and general office management
  • Assist in planning in-house or off-site activities, like parties, celebrations, and conferences
  • Working with our marketing team to source and send cool swag to our teacher advocates
  • Show off your creative skills, research abilities, and can-do attitude as needed for initiatives that will drive change and increase efficiency
  • Liaise with facility management vendors, including cleaning, catering and security services
  • Maintain a positive office culture with your enthusiastic personality!
  • Run payroll to ensure staff are paid in a timely manner

What you'll need:

  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience in performing basic accounting/bookkeeping tasks
  • Strong organizational and planning skills in a fast-paced environment
  • Have experience with a variety of office software (email tools, spreadsheets, and databases) and be able to accurately handle administrative duties
  • A creative mind with an ability to suggest improvements
  • Experience as an Office Manager or Administrative Assistant
