Sr. Email Marketing Specialist

As the email marketing specialist on Prodigy’s quickly-growing marketing team, your content will help smoothly onboard, engage and retain millions of teachers and parents around the globe.

In your first year, you will:

• Build and manage trigger email campaigns throughout the customer lifecycle to maximise engagement
• Work cross-functionally with product squads to develop campaigns that create strong user retention loops
• Create customer segments based on behaviors like past email engagement and website interactions
• Measure results and optimize campaigns through a/b testing in order to improve open rate, deliverability, click rate, opt-out rate, conversion rate, as well as specific business goals around individual campaigns
• Develop documentation and roadmaps for processes, A/B tests, and promotions that succeed through email

You need:

• An excellent understanding of email marketing concepts and metrics such as sender score, deliverability, and sender reputation
• Proficiency in email marketing and marketing automation technology
• Strong writing and editing skills, allowing you to concisely communicate complex concepts
• Genuine passion for continuous learning and professional development

You’ll have an edge with:

• A degree in journalism, communication, creative writing or a similar discipline
• Experience building responsive HTML templates  
• Highly analytical and able to derive meaning from data through A/B testing and email optimization
• Experience in a rapid-growth start-up environment
